Crisis Stabilization Case Manager (QMHP-A)
This is an hourly position working directly with adults with mental health diagnosis. WHOA is currently looking for a Qualified Mental Health Professional who is trained and experienced in providing crisis stabilization services to adults who are in a psychiatric crisis. This position will interact with the client in a positive environment that is assessed as necessary to prevent de-compensation or acute psychiatric hospitalization.
All staff should be able to effectively communicate and counsel on topics including (but not limited to): conflict resolution, anger management, effective communication, emotional regulation, long and short term goal setting, life skills, social skills, functional skills, and the power of a positive mindset.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
The BCBA is responsible overseeing client’s services. This person will work with members of an interdisciplinary team to provide effective behavior support. The BCBA will work with clients with varying disabilities, their families, schools, and community providers. Responsibilities of the BCBA will include the following:
- Conduct developmental and criterion-referenced assessments
- Design appropriate, function-based interventions
- Assist program with data collection to determine effectiveness of interventions
- May participate in staff training related to implementation of plans
- Provide supervision and training to Family Support Specialists and Children’s Autism Trainers

Mental Health Skill Building Case Manager (QMHP-A)
This is an hourly position working directly with adults with mental health diagnosis. Staff must be able to individually manage his/her caseload and facilitate growth in persons who may have been either at risk of being moved into out-of-home placement, being transitioned back into a home from an out-of-home placement due to a documented need of the client or working with a centered based client. The successful candidate will work to provide in-home, family-based therapy with the goal of increasing the functioning of the family unit, prevent out-of-home placement, and need for crisis intervention.

Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor (TDT) QMHP-C
This is an hourly position working directly with children and adolescents with mental health diagnosis in an after school setting. Staff must be able to individually manage his/her caseload and facilitate growth in persons who have been removed from their school of origin and placed in an alternative school setting.

Mental Health Supervisor - LPC/LCSW/Resident/Supervisee
WHOA Behavioral Health is currently seeking full-time Behavioral Health Supervisors to provide clinical supervision for Therapeutic Day Treatment, Intensive In-Home, Mental Health Skill-Building, and Crisis Stabilization. Supervisors are required to hold a valid LPC or LCSW license or be registered as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clinical supervision to staff as well as conducting clinical diagnostic assessments. Leadership experience and a strong clinical background are required. This position offers a multitude of avenues for professional and personal growth and includes clinical supervision for Residents and Supervisees.

Intensive In-Home Counselor (IIH) QMHP-C
This is an hourly position (W2 or 1099 for first 90 days) working directly with children and adolescents with mental health diagnosis. Staff must be able to individually manage his/her caseload and facilitate growth in persons who may have been removed from their school of origin and/or placed in an alternative school setting. The successful candidate will work to provide in-home, family-based therapy with the goal of increasing the functioning of the family unit, prevent out-of-home placement, and need for crisis intervention.

Outpatient Therapist
Seeking qualified Licensed or Licensed Eligible MentalHealth Professionals that have a passion to serve individuals and provide quality care. We offer full time employment and part time contract positions. This position is based out of Richmond, Virginia with options for Tele-therapy.
Must have completed a master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or licensure track relation to human services. Preference given to Licensed professional: LCSW, LPC, LMFT. This position will provide comprehensive direct clinical outpatient treatment to include intake and diagnostic assessments, corresponding individual and family work, martial therapy, crisis intervention during business hours, and therapeutic groups (when applicable) in compliance with policies and procedures.
Psychiatric NP-MD
Seeking qualified Medical Professionals that have a passion to serve individuals and provide quality care. This position is based out of Richmond, Virginia with options for Tele-psychiatry. Offering part time contract and full time employment positions.
Must be licensed to practice medicine in designated region as a Licensed Medical Doctor or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (i.e., MD, DO, PHMN) and hold a valid DEA and NPI number. This position will prescribe, direct, or administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
